PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - NYARM DELIVERS
In our recent membership meetings as well as our newspaper, we promised extraordinary events in June 2001. NYARM has enjoyed a reputation for innovative leadership in the real estate management industry. We have dedicated ourselves to raising the standard of excellence for the real estate professional through education, information and networking, while at the same time, celebrating our enthusiasm for our industry and for the people who work in it. June 2001 gave us an unusual opportunity to keep this promise.
On June 4th we held our Fifth Annual Golf Outing. Everyone attending participated in the brunch, golf tournament, dinner, beverages and prizes. The weather was beautiful and a good time was had by all. NYARM thanks the associate members, sponsors, members and guests for their participation.
On June 13th NYARM celebrated its 43rd anniversary with a buffet dinner at the Palm House at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, one of the loveliest venues possible. A warm June evening, with wine tasting, musical entertainment provided by our own Chuck Holden and a wonderful group of members and friends, made a delightful celebration.
Then in mid-June, Real Estate New York featured NYARM and our "revolutionary idea" of licensing property managers. Jonathan Schein and the staff of Real Estate Media did a terrific job. We thank them for the opportunity, the presentation of our issue and the fun we had working on this project.
As you know, NYARM is always busy working for our industry. As a membership organization we offer outstanding benefits. Medical, dental, vision and legal plans are offered at competitive prices. Our affiliation with a credit union and our job referral program are also available to our members. Our membership roll continues to grow and we encourage you to join us.
