
Jeffrey Levy, a longstanding member of New York's professional residential real estate management industry, has joined AKAM Associates as Director of Management.
In his position as AKAM Director of Management Mr. Levy is responsible for supervising the activities of AKAM's corps of management executives ensuring their uninterrupted delivery of services to client properties. Mr. Levy works with AKAM Chief Executive Officer Leslie Kaminoff and Executive Vice President Michael Berenson on developing new business and development of internal company policy and procedure.
Mr. Levy's career in the property and asset management fields spans more than two decades and includes experience in the residential and financial management of luxury cooperative, condominium and rental properties; subsidized properties; office buildings and shopping centers; capital improvement management; sales, brokerage and lease negotiation; sponsor relations; personnel training and management and new business development.
A founding member of the Association of Cooperative and Condominium Management (ACCM), Mr. Levy's contributions to the real estate industry include his current position as Vice Chair of the Residential Management Council of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He maintains an ongoing membership in the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
