Jointly developed by Atria Senior Quarters and Levine Builders, Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens is located at 117-01 84th Avenue. The nine-story building received the Queens Chamber of Commerce 1998 Building Award, given for a building’s contribution to the Queens landscape.

"We are delighted to join this beautiful neighborhood," said Andrea Gray, Executive Director of Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens. "We look forward to adding a positive aspect to the community by providing the highest quality senior living and care."

Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens offers a broad array of amenities, services and programs, all specifically designed to create a rich lifestyle for seniors with special health care needs and residential requirements. Located in a residential neighborhood just off Lefferts Boulevard and close to Metropolitan Avenue, Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens is convenient to all shopping and many houses of worship, as well as to the Long Island Railroad.

"Mayor Giuliani’s efforts to make our neighborhoods cleaner and safer have encouraged private developers to build much needed housing," said Commissioner Roberts. "The Department of Housing Preservation and Development has also adapted its 421-a Partial Tax Exemption Program to stimulate the construction of additional facilities where seniors can live prosperous and independent lives."

Commissioner Stupp said, "New York City, with its convenient public transportation and rich community life, offers tremendous advantages to the elderly. Programs administered by the Department for the Aging are making retirement in the city more amenable by providing services to keep seniors as independent and active as possible. Housing development like Senior Quarters complement our efforts to help older New Yorkers remain in the city they love."

Residents at Senior Quarters at Kew Gardens can choose from a host of beautifully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments with private bathrooms, European-style kitchens, intercom systems, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, emergency call cords, and ample closet space.
