Your seminar on Fire Safety and Prevention was a job well done! NYARM serves as an example of what an organization can accomplish in providing valuable information and services to the real estate industry and the vendors who service them.
On April 15, 1999, a group from our management, among us were supers, handymen and a security manager, was privileged to attend your seminar on Fire Safety and Prevention. After discussing the seminar, we feel compelled to let you know that the information presented was appreciated and well received. NYARM is to be complimented on the well-planned subject matter and how each speaker was able to build on the presentation before, to the seminar’s entirety. From the time of our arrival, we were warmly greeted and directed to a breakfast buffet, beginning with coffee to other morning delights.
The handymen and supers who attended with us expressed their appreciation to Insignia Residential Group for arranging their schedules to allow them to attend the seminar.

Dear Donna,
I just wanted to write you and thank you and NYARM for offering the recent "Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures" seminar which both Robyn Sanderson and I attended. I remember thinking when I left the seminar that the material might be useful someday. I never thought that we would have a fire in one of our co-op buildings 5 days later.
Thanks to the very informative presentation headed by Stephen Elbaz, we were able to respond quickly to the emergency in a very efficient and informed manner. I virtually followed the outline we received in our yellow packet in dealing with each step as I went through the building.
Fortunately, our fire was relatively small, contained to one apartment, and with no injuries to any of the residents. But we never had to deal with a fire in one of our buildings, and the education you provided was invaluable in dealing with the situation. We are taking measures to step up our overall awareness and preparedness for fire situations.
We look forward to attending more indispensable seminars sponsored by NYARM.
