PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - NYARM MOURNS WITH AMERICA
The New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) mourns the loss of innocent lives in the tragic events of September 11, 2001, as well as the lives of those courageous fire fighters, policemen and emergency medical technicians at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to all who have suffered the loss of or injury to a loved one, friend or business associate in the incredible and terrible act committed against our Nation and our City.

We mourn the losses as we struggle to comprehend how this attack could have happened. As we try to find a way to explain to our children and grandchildren - and even each other - how anyone could hate enough to sacrifice their own life and take along the lives of nearly 7,000 innocent people.

We mourn as we stand in awe of the courage and the heroic efforts of the firemen, policemen, EMT specialists, iron workers and volunteers who continue to work at the site where the Twin Towers stood just weeks ago.

We admire the effectiveness of the city, state and federal government leadership in keeping us moving forward without desperation and panic. We give thanks to the residents of New York City for the way they have controlled their actions, kept peace in our city and given their support by way of donations of blood, food, clothing and money, and, their willingness to move forward.

It is now time for the members of NYARM, along with the people of New York City and America, to let the leaders of our country do the work of finding justice for us. While we put our faith in this Nation's motto "In God We Trust," let us move forward.
