NYARM ANNIVERSARY PARTY CELEBRATES 43 YEARS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT By Donna Klein, nyarm
On Wednesday, June 13, 2001 nearly 200 members and friends converged at the renowned Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Palm House for an evening of comraderie and celebration. A beautiful pre-summer evening enhanced the celebration of 43 years that the New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) has served the real estate management industry.
The evening's festivities included a wine tasting of various North Fork Long Island wines supplied by the Macari and Paumanok Vineyards. A silent auction followed for those who wished to purchase their favorites. The evening's entertainment was supplied by our very own NYARM member Chuck Holden. He supplied a melodious rendition of time honored classics accompanied by harp, piano and drums. A delightful assortment of edibles was served among the flower filled gardens. The glass house that comprises the Palm Room was the perfect setting to celebrate NYARM's 43rd anniversary.
SPONSORS NYARM president P. Leonard Jones greeted the members and guests in attendance. He recounted the year's successes and events, reminded everyone of NYARM's charitable work and thanked the evening's sponsors. "NYARM is lucky to have wonderful, generous members who support our events. This function was no exception. NYARM would like to express our gratitude to our anniversary party sponsors: Saparn Realty, Federation of New York Housing Cooperatives, Industrial Distributors, Northeast Plumbing Specialties, Rosenwach Tank, Bargold Storage Systems and Kew Forest Maintenance Supply."
Len also thanked the Board members who had coordinated the affair. "Recognition should be given to the members of the committee that coordinated the event: Rochelle Captan, Chuck Holden, Tom Maniuszko, Wayne Reed and Joan Saberito." Without their efforts the event would never have been the success that it was.
