NYARM REAL ESTATE EXPO'S POSTER PRESENTATION AND CONTEST
Compete for the Title of "Best Building Improvement or Upgrade"

NYARM is proud to announce the introduction of a new contest to be held in conjunction with its annual trade show on October 18th, 2001 at Pier 88 in Manhattan. NYARM members, as well as all New York area real estate professionals, are invited to attend conference sessions, view the Poster Contest, and walk the show floor of NYARM EXPO 2001 free off charge.

The Poster Contest is open to all building owners and managers in the metro New York area. Entries can be submitted by the property, management company or the contractor/supplier who performed the improvement. The judging will take place on the afternoon of the show and awards will be given in the following categories:
Lobby Upgrade
Elevator Upgrade
Playground Upgrade
Condo Conversion
Security Enhancement
Best telecom/internet packaging
Original/historic restoration
Facade improvement
Kitchen upgrades
Indoor Air quality
ADA compliance
Upgrade Boiler Systems
Energy Efficient Lighting Retrofit
Best Overall Signage

An independent judging panel comprised of building professionals will review each entry submitted . The judging panel will consider additional categories from those not found above. Entries must fall within one of the following property types:
1) Residential Buildings
2) Co-op and Condo Buildings
3) Professional Office Space
4) Retail Space
5) Commercial and Industrial Property
6) Distinctive Individual Apartment
7) Distinctive Individual Home

This contest is open to all and entry forms will be available starting May 1st. The fee for each entry is $25 which covers the cost of exhibit space, winners' plaques and trophies, as well as one "Poster Contest" edition of the NYARM EXPO T-shirt (Size X-Large). Each property or management company is limited to three entries. Space is limited so enter early.

The four page entry form further explains the contest and contest rules. It asks a series of questions about the project and requests that you submit photos or drawings, if available.
