For forty-one years NYARM, as a professional organization,
has developed and presented innovative and interesting programs for real estate
property managers. Our leadership in the industry has provided our members with
the opportunity to participate in the exchange of ideas with the people and organizations
that impact on property management in New York. We have offered numerous educational
programs, seminars and business meetings with prominent speakers. We have always
found management related, as well as social, activities to support the efforts
of our managers on the job.
NYARM activities are extensive. They are presented for people engaged in property management to receive education and information, to become certified as professionals and to network with their colleagues.
The programs and events NYARM sponsors take a great deal of work and preparation by the committees responsible for each event. We invite our members to experience the satisfaction of planning and executing such events and working with their colleagues by joining one of our committees. After all, isn’t that what membership is all about?
We appreciate the support and participation that our diverse associate membership has shown NYARM over the last 41 years. By way of their participation as exhibitors at the NYARM Real Estate Expo, advertising in our Dinner Dance Journal, NYARM Newspaper, annual Desk Diary and now even on the world wide web they have sustained us.
It is important that management company members encourage their staff and their boards to attend the NYARM Expo and monthly meetings, to sign up for NYARM seminars and our certification program at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, the Real Estate Institute.
Most of all, manager members are invited to help develop new ideas and programs that will benefit our organization and our industry.
As a member of NYARM your participation can cost very little but it is vital to the organization’s continued success. A few hours to attend a NYARM meeting, seminar or the Expo is of little consequence when you consider what you receive in return.
